In PHSE last term we looked at different cultures in our community. This week, Aizah kindly shared with us her lovely photos taken when she attended her extended family’s wedding. Muslim weddings vary from country to country, but one thing is common is to notice how detailed and intricate the patterns are on a dress.
You may also notice the henna حِنَّاء on her hands she had done for Eid. Brides also may have henna patterns painted onto their hands and feed. Henna brings good luck and contains بركات Barakat which refers to positive energy.
You look beautiful Aizah!
This what we do in our religion we wear Hina and wear beautiful dresses.
